The President of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Sheikh Hamoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, met today, Wednesday, with the Chairman of the Board of the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority, Dr. Khaled Al-Zamel, to discuss ways of enhancing joint cooperation between the two sides, particularly in areas of telecommunications related to the aviation sector.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Directorate General of Civil Aviation said that the meeting reviewed aspects of mutual cooperation and explored means of advancing technical coordination in a manner that supports the development of technological infrastructure and keeps pace with the requirements of the civil aviation sector in accordance with the highest approved standards.
It added that prospects for strengthening integration between the two sides in technical fields were also discussed, contributing to improving the efficiency of systems related to the air transport sector and enhancing their operational readiness.
