The Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) announced the launch of the “My Numbers" service through the unified government application for electronic services, Sahel, in cooperation with telecommunications companies in the State of Kuwait. The launch comes as part of CITRA's ongoing efforts to advance digital transformation and protect users' rights.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Sunday, CITRA said that the new service enables all citizens and residents to easily view all mobile numbers and telecommunications services registered under their names with different telecommunications companies.
CITRA added that the service aims to enhance digital awareness and facilitate the verification of personal information, thereby promoting transparency and contributing to the protection of digital privacy across all segments of society.
The Authority noted that the launch of the “My Numbers" service reflects its commitment to utilizing advanced technological solutions to provide reliable and secure digital government services.
CITRA called on all users to review the numbers registered under their names through the Sahel app upon the service's launch to ensure the accuracy and integrity of their personal information.
